Hello Neighbor

Hello Neighbor gives players an extremely unique journey of discovery and adventure when it takes place in the house of a mysterious neighbor. Not only that, when participating in the game, you will have to compete with an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Based on each round, all your actions will be remembered and analyzed by the AI, thereby modifying the behavior of your neighbors to set traps on the roads you have traveled. Therefore, when playing the Hello Neighbor game, you will feel an unprecedented plot and logic, everything happens so realistically that you will be surprised and drawn into the game without being able to escape.

Content of the Hello Neighbor game

The plot of Hello Neighbor revolves around a boy named Nicky Roth. The game is divided into four parts, each corresponding to four different stages that Nicky Roth must go through.

Act 1: Opening act

Nicky Roth was chasing a ball down the street when he heard screams coming from his neighbor Theodore Peterson's house. With the curiosity of a boy, Nicky sneaked into that neighbor's house to discover the secrets. While wandering around the building trying to solve puzzles to find the key to the basement, Nicky discovered that Mr. Peterson had turned his basement into a temporary underground dungeon like a maze. Unfortunately, Nicky was accidentally discovered by him and locked in that very basement.

Act 2: Escape scene

Nicky found every way to escape from the cell and escape to the surface. He was surprised to discover that Mr. Peterson had built a large fence around his property to prevent escape. Nicky must once again solve puzzles to find the exit and get back to his home before being discovered and captured. After that event, Nicky was determined to move to another place to live, away from the house of his eccentric neighbor Peterson.

Act 3: Growing up and coming back.

Many years later, Nicky grew up and decided to return to his family's old house. His old house and the neighbor's house are now just ruins. While he falls asleep, he is awakened by a child's scream, and he discovers his neighbor's house is back, but now bigger, more complex, and more surreal than before. It seems he is being stalked and attacked by a shadowy monster, The Thing. During the escape, he again entered the basement that had previously imprisoned him.

Act Finale

In this finale, Nicky must protect a younger version of himself from a giant shadow man. Each time The Thing attacks and Nicky defends his younger self, Nicky grows stronger and stronger until he can take down The Thing.

Gameplay

In Hello Neighbor, players will transform into the character Nicky and play the game from a first-person perspective. At the beginning of the game, the player finds himself moving from his house to the neighbor's house. The player needs to break into the neighbor's house and solve a series of puzzles to collect the necessary items to unlock and access his basement. The player's task is to explore and solve complex puzzles to find the tunnel and the key to opening the lost door.

Try not to let neighbor Peterson discover your intrusion if you don't want to be caught too soon. Using objects you can hold to throw at Peterson will stun him, giving the player more time to hide. Players are allowed to keep up to four items in their inventory space. Items of the same type cannot be stacked in a cell. If the player is captured or seriously injured, they will be taken back to their own home and must break in again. When starting again, the game will be more difficult because, with AI technology, the neighbor will deduce the movement from the last try and set a trap.
