Welcome to NextDoor, a chilling horror game that explores the deeply disturbing mysteries hidden in the seemingly mundane world of suburban neighborhoods. This game is a gritty adaptation of one of Junji Ito's best manga series.

You play as Mimi, a young woman who has just moved into a new apartment and discovers that she lives below a noisy neighbor. She decided to learn about the neighbors living around her. You mostly walk around the apartment complex, interacting with characters and objects, but Next Door manages to successfully capture the escalating horror that the original was famous for.
Especially when you meet and learn about a tall woman dressed completely in black, wearing a scarf, hat and sunglasses that cover her face. What follows are several encounters with this mysterious woman, until one day Mimi accidentally discovers her neighbor's strange secret. Her black pixelated form can hide in any dark corner of the screen. Mimi was always worried that her shadowy figure would crawl under the doorframe and chase after Mimi.
